Community Outreach

At Northeast Animal Shelter caring for homeless animals is at the core of our mission, but we know that we can’t help animals without also helping the people who love them. Our community outreach program works to keep pets and people together by offering affordable and accessible resources to pet owners in underserved communities.

Animal Relocation

Our robust animal relocation program was created to help reduce the nation’s overpopulation problem at animal shelters across the country. Since it’s inception, NEAS has transported over 125,000 cats and dogs to New England — where the demand for adoptable pets is high — and placed them in homes.

Training Classes

We offer a variety of reward-based, positive reinforcement training courses to help keep people and pets together.
