Emerald: Our “Mother Cat of the Year”

Forever Friends Legacy Society

Johanna Fiedler lived for music, working at the National Symphony in Washington, the New York Philharmonic, and the Metropolitan Opera. She was also a lifelong lover of dogs, training and serving with therapy dogs in New York City hospitals and at Ground Zero. By including the Shelter as a beneficiary of her estate, her kindness will live on through the many pets we are able to care for from her bequest.

If, like Johanna, you want to ensure that your love of animals continues in the future, we encourage you to include Northeast Animal Shelter in your estate plans. This is one of the easiest, most meaningful ways to perpetuate your support of the thousands of dogs and cats we save each year.

If you have already named the Shelter in your will, please let us know so that we may thank you and welcome you into our Forever Friends Legacy Society.

For more information on how your legacy can live on through a bequest, please contact Laurie McCannon at the Shelter. Her telephone number is 978-745-9888, extension 303. Or, you can reach Laurie by email at laurie.m@neas.org.
