This Cider was ripe for some loving

When we first went to Northeast Animal Shelter, we thought we wanted an older, smaller dog. But in the very first section, there was a small, loud puppy with a cone on her head named Speckles. She made sure we noticed her, and when we looked at other dogs, she barked even louder. We decided to meet her and played fetch with her in a one-on-one room. She never played fetch again; it was just an act! Speckles, now named Cider, is an outgoing, sweet, snuggly two-year-old dog who loves blueberries and frozen peanut butter in her Kong. We are so glad we took a chance on this puppy and so grateful that Northeast Animal Shelter was taking care of her until we got there.
