I adopted Loki, formerly known as Rufus, on September 27th, 2020. He was the last puppy left at NEAS of his 9 other litter mates. When I noticed he was still available for adoption the weekend prior to my original adoption appointment, I immediately contacted the staff at NEAS to see if they had any last minute openings that same day. The second I saw his puppy dog eyes, I instantly fell in love. Loki has been very easy to train due to his high food motivation. After just 2 days he learned sit, paw, and lay down. He is almost completely potty trained and over the past two weeks has realized this is his forever home. He loves playing fetch, learning new tricks, and cuddling. I can’t imagine life without Loki and I thank NEAS for taking the best care of these animals while they wait to be adopted. It is very apparent they truly care. I can’t wait to adopt with them again in the near future!
