Does your dog know basic commands like “sit” and “down” but suddenly “forget” all of it when you’re in exciting environments?

Join our three-week intermediate manners mini-series Oct. 9, 16 and 23 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Northeast Animal Shelter.

In these sessions, positive reinforcement trainers Dan and Yana Carlson will build on basic behaviors your dog already knows, adding more movement with loose leash walking, recalls and “stay” with distance and duration. You will also work on behaviors like “leave it,” appropriate greetings and more, adding more difficulty using distractions and duration.

Fee for three-session series: $50 (to be paid at first class)

All proceeds will support Northeast Animal Shelter’s “Saving Homeless Pets Across America” program.

Space is limited and fills up quickly.

To register, send an email to training@neas.org.

*IMPORTANT: Dogs must be at least six months old, current on all vaccinations and comfortable in the presence of unfamiliar people and dogs.
