Morris (formerly George) has been a member of our little family for just a few weeks and has already made a tremendous impact – and not just on our wallets thanks to the number of blankets he has destroyed. 😜 Morris, at 12 weeks and 21 pounds, is trying to be as much of a lap dog as possible before he gets closer to his projected 80 pound adult self. We were told he was a hound and shepherd mix, which our vet believes is pretty accurate. Speaking of, he’s handled all trips to the vets and shots like a champ, although he is terrified of having his ears touched.
At home Morris, who is on the right in this picture with our dog Lola, is the ultimate cuddle monster and refuses to leave our side. Skittish at first, he’s starting to venture out and explore his new big backyard and neighborhood. He’s a huge fan of other dogs and children and even cats. In fact, the only living thing he’s perplexed by seems to be ants when they scoot by him on our walkway.
We are so grateful that we found Morris at Northeast Animal Shelter. Thank you so much for treating our puppy so kindly before we found him. It’s hard to imagine not having him in our lives.
