Lenny (previously known as Oreo) has adjusted amazingly well since our family adopted him in April, 2017. He was about 10 months old and very sweet to us upon arrival. He seemed a bit nervous at first, but started to get more comfortable as time went on. He walks well on a leash and is not very dog reactive, but loves to play with other dogs when he can.
Lenny absolutely loves soft toys and stick-like objects; like small deer antlers. He loves playing fetch with a frisbee outside in our backyard. He also seems to like digging holes and biting flower petals off of tulips in the garden, which our mom is not too thrilled about. Lenny loves to be outdoors and will entertain himself with a stick if we are not playing with him.
Lenny has bonded well with every single member of the family. He has a tendency to bring us all together when we go on walks or bike rides along the local trails or Breakheart Reservation. We are all excited to bring him hiking and camping with us this summer, and believe that he will find the whole experience to be a blast. Lenny’s favorite thing to do is to be around us, and we have and will continue to make every effort to bring him with us wherever we can.
