My fiancé and I went to the shelter two weeks ago to see, then named Cookie, who was a local surrender. We immediately fell in love! He was so playful and loved just jumping in my fiancé’s lap to give him kisses.
The next morning we came back so Cookie could meet our dog Ranger. They played so well outside together and entertained themselves just running back and forth chasing each other. We knew we had to bring him home to be part of our family.
We changed Cookie’s name to Django and he is quickly learning our routine and his new name. He loves to snuggle on the couch on Sunday mornings and steal toys from his big brother Ranger.
