Just over a year after losing our beloved babycat Wolfie at 21 years of age our grief evolved into a strong yearning for a feline presence in our lives. We checked out several kitties on the Internet but didn’t feel ready to commit yet. Then one day I came home from work and was greeted by my husband coming down the stairs to tell me he had “found something cute!” He showed me the picture and writeup for an adorable kitty named “Bella” and it was love at first sight for both of us. We called the shelter and learned that Bella had always been an indoor cat, which is just what we were looking for!
We adopted “Bella” the following Saturday. She has assumed the new identity of “Felice” and is a true delight, and already ruler of her domain. Felice answers to her new name, sleeps with us, is very playful and lovable, as well as being a beautiful little girl and truly the softest little kitty we have ever known! Felice was meant to be ours; thank you Jean and Northeast Animal Shelter. You are all pros; an easy 5 stars!
