Stuffin, now known as Reese, has quickly adopted to her new furever home. She’s eating and drinking very well trying to put some weight back on her boney little body and even tolerated us giving her a bath so we could clean up her coat from remaining flea dirt.
She received a clean bill of health on her first visit to the vet, was microchipped, and has gotten her body weight up to over 6 pounds. So far she has quite the spunky personality, loves attention and playing with her new toys, and has become very affectionate up to and including plopping herself down right on our chests when we try to go to sleep at night.
She is still trying to get our other cat to warm up to her, but that has been slow going. Thankfully they have not fought and are pretty much ignoring each other so far and staying on different floors of our home.
