My dad recently moved to a nursing home. My mom needed a companion. She found Rocky and Rocky found her. He’s a 6 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. He was very timid, shy and unfriendly at first. But we heard his story and mom knew he was the right fit. Rocky was very skeptical at first, but bonded right away with Mom. It took a few visits before he warmed up to me but we are best buddies now. My son and I get to help walk and play with him. He is the sweetest dog ever. He brings my mom so much joy – which brings me joy!!
