My name is Sarah Mulas. 13 years ago we adopted a beautiful lab mix puppy we called Simon from the Northeast Animal shelter. He was the best dog any family could ask for. Sadly back in September Simon passed away. Our family was heartbroken. Our home felt so empty without a dog to love. A few weeks after Simon passed we decided to go to the Shelter and see if we could find a puppy and give him his Forever Home. And boy did we…. we fell in love with a puppy who the Shelter called Brutus. He and his brother Bear came from Georgia. It was LOVE at first sight!!!! He was such a sweet puppy and I, my husband and 2 daughters fell in love. We brought Brutus home that day and renamed him Pedro (after Pedro Martinez the Red Sox player). He is such a smart and happy puppy. He has added so much joy to our family. Not only do we love him but all our neighbors and friends adore him as well. Pedro has found his Forever Home with us and we owe it to the Northeast Animal shelter for helping us with this chapter of our lives 🙂
