We adopted Zooey (Tammy) back in April of 2014, and it was the best thing we could have done. We went to Northeast on a whim “just to look” because we had recently lost our dog. We walked around the different areas and when we first passed by, Zooey was sleeping on her little bed. She kind of raised her head and wagged her tail a bit but didn’t get up. We continued walking around and came back to the area where Zooey was. All of the dogs were barking in their places, but she quietly and gently walked up to the door of her spot and wagged her tail. We had to pull her blue card. She is every bit as sweet and loving as we could hope for. She’s good with our cats, our baby nephew and she’s the perfect mix of friendly but protective. We love her.
