We met Miss Maya (formerly Sherri) on March 18th at your shelter. We saw her photo online and had to rush right to the shelter for her! It really was love at first sight. Her fluffy fur and distinct markings made it a no brainer! We traveled from Plymouth MA over an hour to the shelter, impatiently waiting to meet her with our fingers crossed. She was still there waiting for us! We arrived and instantly went to find her. (We also found her brother who I would have taken home too had I had the chance haha.) Since that day in March, Maya has become an amazing part of our family. My boyfriend and I, as well as our parents friends and families, all love her! She’s beyond loved and spoiled, and we couldn’t have picked a better little girl. She’s smart and loving, and growing up to be a wonderful dog! Thank you Northeast Animal Shelter for bringing Maya from Alabama to Massachusetts for us to find!!! 🙂
