We adopted Henry on May 30th. We had visited the shelter two times before trying to find the right match for our eleven year old rescue dog at home, Bailey. After going to the shelter the third time to meet a different dog that Bailey didn’t click with, we asked our adoption counselor if she could think of any dogs that would be a good match for Bailey. That’s when she came out with John Henry! Bailey and Henry clicked immediately. Henry made himself at home very quickly, and now it’s like we’ve had him forever. He is a great addition to our family! Thank you to everyone at the Northeast Animal Shelter for being so kind and helpful towards us every time we visited, and thank you for helping us find Bailey’s little brother!
