I walked into the Northeast Animal Shelter on a Wednesday in early March. There was this adorable puppy resting quietly on his cot. After meeting with him, I, staff and the vet realized he was not 100%. Billy needed to be placed in care for a respiratory infection. I called every day checking in on him. The staff was patient with us as we continuously inquired about Billy’s health. Three weeks later we were able to bring him to his forever home! Our family adores him. Billy has brought so much joy to our family!! He loves to run, jump and play. Meeting new puppies to play with is his favorite thing. Our home is a long way from the streets of Alabama, but we are forever blessed that he found his way into our hearts and home via the Northeast Animal Shelter!!
