Since being adopted from NEAS early last December, Amy has settled in quite nicely in her new forever home. She is quite a character, with a few quirky traits. When she wants a treat or something to eat, she mouths the air as though she is biting the air. She loves to play in the snow and go for walks, although she does not like to be out in the rain. She is quite playful and energetic, always trying to engage Sam (our rescued greyhound) to play. She loves stuffy and squeaky toys; and especially loves chicken-flavored chew treats. Amy has made a few friends with our neighbor dogs – Buster, Angel, Max, and Bella. After an active day, Amy loves to snuggle up close to us. At nighttime, she sleeps in the bed with us.
