My daughter works at a horse farm where she fell in love with a Corgi-mix named Opie. She always said she wanted a dog just like him. Low and behold, on Friday the 13th I saw a picture of Ruby (aka Sydney) pop up on NEAS Facebook. We talked about it and decided it may be time to add to our little family. On Valentine’s Day we trudged over in the snow, not sure if she would still be there. I am a firm believer in fate, if it’s meant to be it will be. Well not only was she there waiting for us but it was love at first sight! We brought her home in the snowstorm, introducing her to her 2 older sisters and 3 cat brothers. Within 24 hours it was like she’d always been there! She is smart, loving and so funny. We can’t imagine our home without our little Ruby Valentine!
