It was love at first sight, we saw his perfect little face and knew he had to be ours. Copper (afterwards named Katahdin) was so timid when we first got him and didn’t even know how to run! Sometimes he still trips on his floppy ears but he seems to get it now. After many long months of teaching him how to chase squirrels and swim, he knows he has a place to call home. He has a permanent place in our hearts as well as the hearts of many around the neighborhood, and enough puppy play dates lined up to last him forever. We’re just as in love with him now as we were 2 1/2 years ago when we got him.
