Let me tell you about Owen (formerly known as Oliver). What can I say about this precious boy? When we lost our 13-year-old kitty, Sylvester, in August due to cancer, we didn’t think we would get another for quite a while. We had adopted him from NEAS back in 2001. But, on October 21, 2014, my daughter and I were driving by NEAS and decided to come in – just to get a kitty fix and come home.

Well, of course that didn’t happen as we went into the kitten room and one of your volunteers was holding baby Owen and his little motor was going and he was just adorable. Fast forward to now……. Owen is the light of our lives. You cannot be sad around this guy – he just puts a smile on your face with his crazy kitten antics – sideways jumping is our favorite !!
