We adopted Juju after our beloved 17 year old dog Sam went to the Rainbow Bridge. Sam was adopted from NEAS in 1999. We found Juju and added him to our family, which includes 3 adopted cats and a 9 year old catahoula/shepherd dog (also a rescue) named Deogi.
Juju is a delightful guy who is beginning to gain confidence and bond with Deogi. The best part about rescue is seeing the animal’s true personality emerge. The new light in his eyes and the wag in his tail are so rewarding. Deogi was very sad being the only dog (he had been with Sam his whole life) and has regained his sense of mischief and play. We are so grateful we found our new buddy, Juju.
