We came up to see Lucy (now Penny Lane) a few days after Christmas. We had seen Lucy’s picture on the website and thought she was beautiful. When we arrived to see her she was so shy! She wouldn’t interact with us and didn’t know how to wag her tail. We were very apprehensive but we saw something in her and we knew she had to come home with us.
It took a full week for her to wag her tail but now she doesn’t stop! She has added so much love to our lives. Her kind and gentle demeanor is so sweet and cuddly! We are so happy we took a chance with our little shy girl. Thank you to Northeast Animal Shelter for rescuing our girl in Georgia!
