We adopted Penny a min-pin, about 7 years ago. She is the love of our lives. Penny was neglected and taken by animal control before she came to NEAS. At the time, we had just lost our Schnauzer age 18, who had just crossed over the rainbow bridge, so we were looking for someone to fill the void in our lives. Penny became the perfect fit. Penny is now about 9 years old, we think, and lives a leisurely life with 3 cats in our home.
