Aunt Jemima was very cautious at first, but she is eating and sleeping okay, and likes to cuddle and get attention.
We are happy with her. One thing is that she doesn’t like rain very much, so we have to trick her to go into the yard in the rain, and then she comes in and pees on the only carpet in the house! We will have to work on that somehow!
When we got her, she was finishing up her heartworm medicine and had some dry skin that she was scratching. After a nice bath and a brushing, her coat looks a lot better. She will be meeting the vet for the first time this week.
She loves to run, play tug of war, and chew on bones. We are happy to have her.
