Violet came home with us a little over a week ago. After about 3 days she was totally relaxed in her new home and her true personality started shining through. The timid shy little puppy we met in the shelter is now out-going, incredibly affectionate, and full of energy. There’s usually somebody at home during the day so she’s never alone, but when we get home from work at the end of the day she does this incredible dash around the house barking and full of excitement to see us. It’s really something to see. Adopting Violet was one of the best things we’ve done. She’s a great addition to our family.
