As we walked around the “kitten room” at NEAS, none of the kittens caught our eye until we got to Leeloo’s kennel. The little 8 week kitten was sticking her tiny paws out and mewing at me. I put my fingers between the bars and she immediately started to rub against them and purr. She was so happy to be getting attention and affection. I knew then that we were meant to take her. As soon as we brought her home she started running around and playing with her new toys and then took a nap in her big comfy kitty bed. She is now 5 months old and is as adorable as ever. She hates being alone, she follows someone around the house at all times. Playing fetch with pompoms is her favorite activity. She is excellent at snuggling under the blankets at night. She is great at giving kitty kisses. She can also be quite mischievous! She loves to rip all the toilet paper off the roll. She climbs on the kitchen counters. And one time she was playing on the edge of the toilet seat and fell in.
Leeloo is an incredible, playful and loving kitten and will grow up to be an amazing affectionate cat. I am so happy to have her in my life and that I’m able to give her a safe and loving home. Our life together is just beginning. I can’t wait to see what great adventures and memories we will create together.
