Both Fluff (renamed her Cassie) and Milkshake (renamed Callie) are doing wonderfully! They settled in right away and are both so sweet and really adorable. I’m particularly fond of their interactions with each other – they cuddle and give each other baths. Occasionally, Cassie will assert herself and let Callie know she still her Mom, but for the most part, they are very chill. I’ve figured out that they both really love any toys with feathers on them, and that they have a lot more fun if I leave them in a bag (their ‘toy box’) and make them dig them out.
I do have to vacuum and brush them pretty much every day, but they’re so beautiful, it’s well worth the effort. Cassie loves being brushed and would let me do it all day. Callie tolerates it long enough for me to keep her sleek and pretty.
I brought them both for a check-up at my vet’s office – Danvers Animal Hospital – and they both seem to be in perfect health. I’m so happy to have their company and am very grateful we were both in the right place at the right time.
